An historic house offering a large holiday home in a village with a central UK location, providing spacious self catering holiday accommodation, activities and catering on request for large groups.

An Englishman's house is his castle so the saying goes, and this certainly is a grand old house. Built in the William & Mary period for the local clergy, it retains the spirit and features of a bygone era with all the luxury of modern living.

Located in Nottinghamshire, a short distance from Lincoln in a small village on the River Trent, Dunham House large holiday home offers an ideal large self catering holiday venue for family parties, group accommodation, re-unions or just extended family holidays.

The house is detached, standing in its own grounds and has flexible accommodation based around 8 bedrooms with a variety of doubles and twins, accommodating up to 22 guests in large stately rooms. Families are welcome, the gardens are safely enclosed and there is a large games room in the stable block with football table, pool table and a playhouse in the garden.

There is a fishing pool behind the house available for £3.50 per day and the River Trent is a short walk away. It has the Trent Valley Way, a long distance footpath along its bank. The village is ideal for walking and cycling.

If self catering is not your style, the nearby pub (50yds) serves excellent food from £3.00 for a main meal in good surroundings, or for that special celebration, you can book our catering services and have a full 4-course waitress service meal prepared for you in the privacy of your resplendent dining room.
